What is with American corporations today? These two recent advertising nightmares show that some big brands still don’t get it – whether you’ve approved the content or not, the fact that an agency you employ would create something so offensive and against your brand guidelines is cause for concern. In the internet age, brands need to be even more careful about the vendors they work with, just as they need to keep a close eye on the employees they hire. One slip up can lead to PR disaster, just ask McDonalds or Ford.
